Shape the Future of Water in South Africa
The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) is investing in a brighter, more sustainable future by empowering the next generation of leaders. Our External Bursary is an all-inclusive program designed to support talented and driven South African students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are passionate about water-related fields.
We’ve Got You Covered
- ✔ Full payment for tuition and registration.
- ✔ A living allowance for accommodation and meals.
- ✔ An allowance for books and study materials.
- ✔ A personal stipend to help with other expenses.
Your Commitment to the Future
Upon graduation, you’ll join our Water Learning Academy to kickstart your career. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and apply your knowledge. In return for our investment, you’ll commit to a service contract with the DWS. Please note, this bursary cannot be held at the same time as other funding like NSFAS.
