You must be a resident of the Western Cape and currently unemployed. - ✓
You need to be accepted into, or already enrolled in, an approved Health Science program at a recognized South African university. - ✓
You’re ready to make a real impact and commit to working with the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness after you graduate.
Our selection process considers your academic achievements, our province’s healthcare needs, and available funding to find the best candidates.

- B Tech Nursing
- BSc Radiography (All specializations)
- B Nursing Degree
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery
- BSc in Occupational Therapy
- BSc in Physiotherapy
- MBChB (Medicine)
- Speech Therapy
- Higher Certificate in Nursing
- Diploma in Nursing (General)
- Advanced Diploma in Midwifery (R174)
- Emergency Care (All levels)
